We are a Successful Ironworks Company with more than Three Decades of experience, seek the following qualified individual; Job Title: Structural Shop Supervisor We are seeking a Structural Shop Supervisor with extensive experience in the fabrication of structural beams, columns, and stairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel and metal fabrication and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our structural shop. Responsibilities: – Supervise a team of structural fabricators to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of projects. – Review and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards. – Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition. – Monitor the progress of projects and provide regular status updates to management. – Collaborate with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. – Train and mentor junior staff members to ensure that they are able to work effectively and safely in the shop environment. – Implement and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, and ensure that all safety procedures are followed. Requirements: – Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel and metal fabrication, including experience with beams, columns, and stairs. – Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team of employees effectively. – Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. – Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately. – Knowledge of welding and other metal fabrication techniques. – Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in metal fabrication and installation. – Commitment to safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
