Structural Engineer Project Manager Full Time

Immediate, direct opening a Structural Engineer with Project Management experience.

The structural engineer / project manager will take control of the project through the completion of construction, working with a structural technicians and other structural engineers.

Projects typically range from small to medium in size and some large-scale projects.

The Structural PM will be working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities: Manage multiple projects from the the design phase through construction.

Manage project schedules.

Perform day-to-day engineering tasks and calculations, coordinate structural system layouts, and coordinate details and specifications.

Perform general construction administration duties including site visits and shop drawing review, and answer questions for construction coordination.

Lead &/or direct structural technicians and other structural engineers Work closely with principals and other senior structural engineers Position Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering (or similar program).

Masters degree preferred.

7 to 8 years minimum working experience in the field of structural engineering or design Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer preferred.

Experience designing structural systems with concrete, steel, wood, and masonry; foundation and framing systems Knowledge of International Building Code and referenced standards will needed.
