Solution Architect – Salesforce

Description Summary of the Position This role is responsible for the application architecture and development lifecycle process that translates business requirements into software systems, services, and solutions on the Salesforce platform.

The incumbent provides technical leadership and design expertise, drives the designs of all Salesforce components including configuration, customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integration.

The position will work with business stakeholders to define business and technical solution architectures to fulfill requirements, influence business leadership on decisions and drive ownership and acceptance of the provided solution.

The ideal candidate will be as comfortable rolling up their sleeves and writing code or changing configurations as they will be managing Salesforce administration and development efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.

Architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with business objectives.

Lead the Salesforce technical design, system development and integration from inception through production support by following logical data model design, functional system design and best-practice development and configuration management methodologies.

Identify and recommend Salesforce based solutions, integration points and related implementation architecture to improve functionality, scalability, and performance.

Define technical best practices for Salesforce implementations.

Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integration, and data migration activities.

Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to Salesforce users, developers, and administrators.

Provide technical leadership in the design, development and maintenance of solutions and integrations configured and custom built on the Salesforce platform.

Basic Qualifications Complete expertise on the entire Salesforce platform At least 8 years of experience developing software At least 3 years of experience with Aura, Apex, HTML5, JavaScript within the Salesforce platform At least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Pardot) At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce Lightning At least 4 years of Salesforce development and administration Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, relevant field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications The ability to influence without direct authority.

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Salesforce Certified Administrator Project management skills to manage pipeline, prioritization, and deadlines Results driven with demonstrated successful outcomes.

Ability and desire to work well with diverse employees and customers in a cooperative and friendly manner.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
