Solution Architect

Detailed Description Roles and Responsibilities: Design complex Data Center and/or cloud solutions to fix a diverse range of business problems for large variety of client verticals, using the best technology solutions to meet specific business needs. Assist in the business development life cycle by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to identify and qualify current Collaboration offerings and validate emerging product offerings. Assist in the development of Data Center and/or cloud sales positioning and go to market strategies and deliver sales enablement training to localized sales teams. Become the client’s trusted technical advisor on major projects for key accounts and establish relationship with client independent of the account manager. Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with clients; interact at all levels within the client organization. Discuss client business goals and provide evaluation and direction in both operational processes and technical architectures. Lead the development of formalized Data Center and/or Cloud solution methodologies and delivery strategies. Write proposals, reports, and general project documentation. Develop and maintain vendor relationships within the channel. Build and maintain a repository of deliverables, methodologies, and business development documents. Development of level of effort and cost estimations for completion of product solutions. Development of Statement of Work (SOW) documentation for the completion of product solutions. Skills and Experience: 5 years advanced Data center and/or Cloud design and implementation experience and customer-facing solution-based selling. Proven work experience dealing with major customer accounts. Strong knowledge of core technology services and design of the most complex solutions across a broad range of client verticals. Mastery of network protocols and design. Mastery knowledge of Data Center and/or Cloud technology services and design of the most complex solutions across a broad range of customer verticals. Mastery knowledge of Data Center and/or Cloud upgrade components and requirements. Strong ability to interpret client Collaboration challenges and issues and be able to translate into technical solutions. Broad-based technology understanding and competence in multiple technologies and solutions. Ability to apply knowledge of sales strategies in behavior and communications throughout the duration of the sales cycle. Ability to work in complex situations and implement more creative solutions into their designs, and to proactively solve problems and suggest solutions. Ability to integrate all business processes to optimize opportunity, profitability, and productivity. Strong ability to present complex solutions to a variety of technical and nontechnical audiences. Ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing to technical, nontechnical, and executive customer contacts. Strong ability to write proposals and create proposal templates and best practices. Ability to interact across a broader range of customer contacts, and to guide other employees with their customer interactions. Strong understanding of business principles, key drivers, and business models. Customer-service oriented. Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field experience Data Center specialized level in multi-vendor and product technologies. CCNP-Data Center certified or actively pursuing, or other CCNP-x certification, CCDP preferred, minimum of CCDA. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or actively pursuing, or other AWS professional certification. Multiple higher-level certifications, and cross-trained on other non-Cisco vendors’ products, as applicable.
