What you’ll achieve As the Senior Principal Engineer and Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and platform management of Dell Technologies Content Governance platform including: collecting & defining business requirements, developing design, integration design, and implementation planning.
Work with team to build a comprehensive content governance technology platform, strategy, operations and infrastructure to meet business goals and opportunities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT and repository engineers to ensure the design meets or exceeds requirements and is implemented as needed.
Interface with platform infrastructure leads, IT, business engagement, and support teams to provide platform insight, knowledge and support.
Partner with vendors to influence technology development to support Dell Technologies strategic objectives.
Help lead the IDD Content Engineering Forum – working collaboratively with IDD DevOps engineers and IDD leaders to design unified next-gen Dell Technologies content design and delivery platforms including migration roadmaps You will: * Identify opportunities, industry developments, technology and strategy to develop a robust content platform* Lead the technical solutioning including design, architecture and implementation plan for high quality, complex content platform systems* Provide platform management, roadmap and implementation with IT, infrastructure lead, integration/support manager, and engagement lead.* Lead the development, test and integration of code for new or existing software of significant complexity involving multiple teams Take the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements * Ability work with business stakeholders and technology SMEs to clearly understand requirements, design technology solutions, and articulate the solution related to content strategies* Advanced knowledge of programming languages; operating systems; content systems; databases; system, network, and application administration; tools and utilities* Responsible for the successful implementation, delivery, integration and deployment of high-quality software into systems and business processes* Able to constructively coach less-senior engineers* Extensive experience with content governance tools such as Acrolinx strongly desired Education Typically requires 10-12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience Here’s our story; now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
