As Senior IT Solutions Architect you will be responsible for architecting solutions to enable (automate) manufacturing quality business processes such as Incoming Inspections, Supplier Quality Management (SCAR, SPC).
This position is part of the Enterprise Business Application department will be USA remote base. At Cepheid, our mission is delivering A Better Way to improve patient outcomes by enabling access to molecular diagnostic testing everywhere.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Partner with Business to manage the Enterprise Quality Management System (EQMS) technology roadmap for responsible quality processes.

Architect solutions to improve productivity, drive efficiencies into business processes and continuous improvements.

Establish and drive system release plans that satisfy business requirements and priorities. Manage team to deliver the project, potentially including both internal and contract resources.

Apply development methodologies to ensure teams have the right skills and composition to deliver quickly and respond to emerging requirements.

Apply technical knowledge, including agile practices, to solve business problems.
The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelors degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR Masters degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience as a Solutions Architect for Manufacturing Quality and Supplier Quality Management systems.

Proven experience overseeing all elements of the software development lifecycle.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Medical Device industry experience.

Content Services Platform/ Document Management implementation experience.

ComplianceWire, SmartSolve, Trackwise, SAP experience.
