As an SAP OTC Solution Architect, you will Be accountable for helping drive the successful design, architecture, build, test, and implementation of SAP Order to Cash solution across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites.
Partner with business leads, business engagement teams to support the development of cases for delivering the IT roadmap and Business strategy Collaborate with Business, Operations IS and ERP solution architects (Plan to Stock, Record to Report, Source to Settle, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, GTS) for multi-functional integrations and E2E solution design.
Serve as solution owner for the SAP Order to Cash solutions within the global ERP architecture team.
Lead continuous improvements to drive IT effectiveness with the business and IT Collaborate with business and operations IS teams to identify future business needs and prioritize resources/efforts to support the delivery of business-critical projects, enhancements, and process improvements.
Deliver on portfolio investments and ensure business value outcomes are realized based on prioritized business needs Drive implementation of multi-functional initiatives required for regulatory compliance Uses deep business knowledge to drive engagement in major IT initiatives Influence architecture decisions and solution choices with business collaborators and enterprise architects Manage Implementation vendor to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services, holding them accountable to project scope, SLAs, and critical metrics Drive configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams Ensure all the required functional, configuration, and technical design documents of SAP OTC capabilities are created in compliance with GxP requirements and ERP architecture standards.
Support Validation/QA teams on ensuring GxP compliance of SAP OTC capabilities with the corporate standard for IT change management and IT SOPs following 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 requirements Promotes adoption of SAP industry standard methodologies within in S/4 Order to Cash workstream.

The SAP OTC professional we seek is a Solution Architect with these qualifications.
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 3 years of OTC experience Or Bachelors degree and 5 years of OTC experience Or Associates degree and 10 years of OTC experience Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of OTC experience Preferred Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience in SAP Order to Cash with a minimum of 1-2 end to end S/4 implementations Good understanding of SAP supply chain processes Possess solid knowledge in SAP Organizational structure, Master data, Sales Order Processing, Delivery Processing, Shipping and Transportation, Billing processing, and accounts receivables.
Should have adequate knowledge of Stock Transport Orders and 3PL/4PL business processes Hands on experience in configuring Document types and Item categories in Sales, Delivery & Billing, Contracts and Pricing, ATP, Export Controls, Output Determination, Credit Management, EDI/IDOC, and other OTC processes.
Should be aware of global compliance requirements in their respective countries in electronic invoicing Experience in integration of SD with other SAP modules like MM, FI, PP, TM, GTS, EHS, and EWM.
Experience in the integration of SAP with applications like Salesforce, and Hybris.
Contribute to the business through innovative ideas, proof of concepts, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.
