If you are an Electrical Engineer with GPS or RF Receiver experience, please apply and we will contact you.The Secure Sensor Solutions (SSS) Hardware Engineering organization is seeking an Electrical Engineer experienced in the development of GPS or other RF receivers.

This position is in the Resilient Navigation (R-NAV) Department that specializes in the product development of military GPS user equipment.

The technical leader will work in the Hardware Engineering organization performing GPS system architecture development and electronic hardware design.

The engineer will work closely with Systems Engineering to develop designs or upgrades based on descriptions and specifications provided by our customers.

The engineer will provide technical direction and leadership on critical programs developing, and manufacturing complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with the development of military GPS receivers and expertise in mixed-signal electronic hardware architecture.

The successful candidate will bring a holistic system perspective and cross-discipline understanding of systems integrating RF, analog and digital circuits, electronics packaging, FPGAs, ASICs, firmware and software.

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated “self-starter” able to lead by example, possessing strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and maintain positive relationships & satisfaction with Programs leadership (Engineering and Program Management).

Required Skills: Minimum 10 years’ experience designing and integrating mixed-signal (RF/Digital/Power) systems, subsystems and/or modules, particularly for military receiver applications like anti-jam GPS or radar.Receiver and exciter expertise with frequency planning experienceHigh-Speed (> 500 MHz) ADC, DAC and DDS selection and testing experienceAbility to mentor others and work well on a dynamic team in a System Integration Lab or Test Lab on schedule critical deliveriesExperience in design, test, and troubleshoot of RF, digital and mixed signal circuits and systems in both a factory and lab settingExperience with Mentor Graphics layout, ADS and HFSS simulationExperience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, and frequency synthesizers.Must be comfortable with complex issues that span multiple domains of electrical, RF, digital and software.Experience interfacing with suppliers including authoring specifications and statements-of-work.U.S.
