RTX: Electrical Engineering Fellow

Are you a technical expert in mixed-signal electronic hardware architecture and design?

Do you want to lead the development of cutting-edge Global Positioning System (GPS) user equipment delivering Military Code, Anti-Jamming, Anti-Spoofing and Alternative Navigation solutions to government customers?

Does a hybrid or remote work arrangement appeal to you?

If so, then this could be the role for you.

The electromagnetic environment is growing ever more harsh due to increasing spectrum use and maneuvers by adversaries who seek to deny U.S.

military systems the ability to accurately determine their position, velocity and timing.

Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI& S) creates resilient sensor and receiver solutions that keep US service members safe with real-time data and information in even the most challenging environments.

The Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Hardware Engineering organization is seeking an Electrical Engineering Fellow experienced in the development of GPS or other RF receivers.

Raytheon Engineering Fellows are respected and innovative leaders in their field with visibility and impact across the RI& S business unit.

This position in the Resilient Navigation (R-NAV) Department specializes in the product development of military GPS user equipment capable of maintaining accurate position, navigation and timing despite jamming and spoofing attempts.

We are responsible for the full scope of GPS Receiver product solutions, spanning architecture trades, frequency plan development, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment and associated integrated system verification solutions.

As the Engineering Fellow, you will research and develop highly advanced new hardware resulting in new business opportunities that directly impact program and product line results for the business.

You will provide technical direction and leadership on critical programs developing and manufacturing complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.

You will have the opportunity to architect the future of military GPS receivers that meet mission, cost and schedule goals.

You will collaborate with customers to develop solutions that address their needs and lead multi-disciplined design teams to drive mission success.

You will work closely with Systems Engineering to develop designs or upgrades based on specifications provided by our customers.
