Description: We’re looking for an outstanding mechanical engineer with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.
This person must will be responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical design and related analysis specifically for satellite systems and ground support equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a foundation in mechanical engineering suited for both prototype and production level designs.

• BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent
• Knowledge of MCAD software 3D modeling and 2D drafting, preferable NX.
• Experience designing mechanical assemblies for electronics
• Experience with rapid prototype tooling
• Experience with production tooling
• Strong communication and writing skills PREFERRED SKILLS
• Siemens Teamcenter
• Mechanical stack-up analysis
• Use of engineering project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile tools From Req Qual: Need test fixture design for thermal vacuum testing, shock testing.
Must haves: Mechanical engineer
– industry experience, mid level is ok Fixturing design, costume mount for something that is already designed that has no interface pattern.
No optics, bracket designer Some aerospace the environmental testing that these units will go through that will help inform fixture design Siemens NX prefer
– open to catia, solidworks
