Overview: Perform set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, replacement and programming of production equipment with an emphasis on maintaining all GMP standards and maximization of equipment and facility efficiencies.
Responsibilities:Plan, develop and document PLC/NMI/SCADA systems, able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.Assist in installing, repairing, rebuilding and diagnosing all machines and equipment as assigned by the supervisor or foreman.Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties and effect repairs and adjustmentsPerform preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment as instructed and specified on preventative maintenance work orders and assist in the design of preventative maintenance program.Run and test machinery through various cycles.
Requirements:Ability to read and create electrical schematics, interpret mechanical drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic.Proficiency with Allen Bradley and Siemens automation products.An understanding of process control and instrumentation, working on 3 phase circuits and motor control.Able to work in a team environment.Strong problem solving skills are preferred.
