IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer
FTE Direct Hire Role – Banking/Financial Services
Los Angeles, CA – Hybrid (expecting 1-2 days a week onsite)
Compensation: Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus

Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and manage server, storage, and network infrastructures
Support and troubleshoot endpoint computing infrastructure, workstation operating & security systems, and data encryption systems
Oversee the performance and maintenance of the virtualized infrastructure
Manage data backup and patch management systems
Provide technical support to company-wide laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers
Assist in vendor management and the evaluation of new emerging technologies
Provide support and maintenance to LAN/WAN and telecommunications infrastructure
Design, implement, and test disaster recovery plans for the IT infrastructure
Provide technical support and assist staff members when needed
Identify end-users problems and conduct root cause analysis
Provide thorough documentation of IT policies and procedures
Responsible for keeping the IT infrastructure in compliance with the Federal regulations
Requirements:
5+ years experience engineering, managing, and maintaining Microsoft Windows Servers and Operating Systems
5+ years experience engineering, managing, and maintaining VMware ESXi environments
Proficient with Active Directory and Group Policy
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN infrastructure
Knowledge of enterprise endpoint protection systems & backup/disaster recovery solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail skills
Possess and understanding of Project Management Methodologies, including product Lifecyle policy and project development lifecycle
Prior experience working in a financial services organization (preferred)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or other related IT Certifications (preferred)
