Find your future with us.Boeing Space Mission Systems is currently seeking a System Architecture Manager to join their team in El Segundo, CA.The position will be focused on managing the system architecture capability in support of space system development activities.Position Responsibilities: Develops System level architectures, CONOPS, requirements, plans and implements team policies and procedures to ensure delivery of quality architecture products. Works closely with and provides technical guidance to team members who are evaluating customer’s operational needs and defining architectures for Boeing Solutions. Ensures that team members have the resources needed to meet task objectives and are integrating Boeing MBSE processes and tools into their workflow. Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
