SUMMARY OF ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The incumbent applies electrical skills, experience, and knowledge to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of equipment. The incumbent will determine, without supervision unless he/she has a problem, what actions to take.
- With minimal supervision, the incumbent uses expertise for diagnosis and trouble shooting.
- The incumbent ensures all work is performed in accordance with National Electrical Code Standards.
- The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and tracking our inventories of electrical parts.
- The incumbent provides direction and training for our less electrically skilled maintenance personnel and our production equipment operators. The incumbent will aid in the training of the mechanical staff in the area of electrical practices.
- The incumbent provides preventive and cost efficient repairs for the plant.
The incumbent will aid in the drafting of standard operating procedures and maintenance procedures for specific tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and /or Experience: 2 year electrical degree, 5 years or more work experience and up to date General Journeymen contractors license.
- Language Skills: Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer Skills: Fluent in Microsoft Windows and Office software.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to make independent decisions. Ability to solve problems with little to no direction. Must be able to examine the logical relationships between conclusions and their supporting assertions. Must be able to draw conclusions from facts and evidence.
