This is a Full-time position in Los Angeles, CA posted March 31, 2020.

Hydrostructures , an engineering and field services company, is now looking for an experienced Pipe Inspection Camera Operator to perform robotic camera inspections of sanitary and storm sewer pipes. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and hardworking; an organized, hands-on person with good technical and mechanical skills, communication skills, problem solving capability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Duties: Responsible for the safe and professional operation of robotic pipe inspection camera systems to inspect underground pipes Mobilize to job sites on a daily basis and safely operate mainline and lateral pipe inspection camera equipment Responsibilities: Complete NASSCO certified Pipe, Manhole and Lateral Assessment and Certification Program (PACP, MACP, and LACP) inspections of small and large diameter pipes Complete required administrative paperwork (e.g., time sheets, inspection reports, production logs, schedules, etc.) accurately, and within the specified timelines Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and clients Maintain pipe inspection camera equipment in good operating condition by adjusting, cleaning, lubricating and performing minor repairs Requirements: Experience operating robotic pipe inspection camera systems to inspect underground pipes, in addition to having the ability to plan, schedule, and undertake work safely, independently, and professionally Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s License Ability to read and understand utility plans and site drawings Punctual and reliable Ability to work out of town, as required Ability to pass a drug test Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
