Position: WMS SCM Specialist Department:IT Reports to:Director of IT, Supply Chain Direct Reports:None FLSA Status: Exempt Location: 3880 N Mission Los Angeles, CA 90031 or 4232 Indian Ave, Perris CA 92571 Job Purpose: The Forever 21 Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist is the expert for Forever 21s Warehouse Management System.This person may be based out of the Los Angeles, California or Perris, California offices.
This position is responsible for: Identifying business requirements and map them to the Manhattan (MANH) Active WMS.
Leading the implementation of Manhattan Active WMS modules across all business units.
Interacting with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions.Deliverables: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Gather and document business requirements, lead fit-gap analysis, as-is and to be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, end user training Conduct solution design workshops Develop business process designs, perform functional configuration and perform unit testing Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
Identify functionality gaps and provide solutions for them Write function design documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions Support business users with the execution of test scripts Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables Provide consistent and concise status and issue reports to the project manager/key stakeholders on a regular basis Work in collaboration with MANH support for resolving critical bugs To work independently on projects and production support with minimum supervision Working with solution architects and technical SMEs to translate project requirements into solution designs, project estimates, and activity plans To assist in implementation of SCM solution across Sparc Group business units Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience required with Manhattan Active experience preferred Should be familiar with typical Order Management, Procurement & Inventory management processes Must have at least 2 end to end implementation experiences with warehouse management system enhancements or implementations Performed hands on implementations, maintenance and support of ERP applications including experience with base data management Experience with design and implementation of application interfaces Ability to lead and motivate others Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to understand and analyze business processes requirements to formulate technical solutions Ability to manage project scope and expectations Strong verbal, written, and technical communication Bachelors from 4-year college or university in Information Technology, management, economics, accounting, finance or applicable work experience Minimum 5 years experience in the IT fieldWhat we Expect Customer Obsession; you know who your customer is and working in service to them is working in service to our end consumer.
