Be part of a great organization with advancement opportunities.ResponsibilitiesAttend all pre-bid site meetings to prepare accurate estimatesAnalyze and comprehend project plans, specs and detailsAnalyze project financials and labor costsComplete thorough bid packages for clientsPrepare takeoffs/estimates of costs of materials, labor and equipmentPrepare and follow-up on quotes (including examination and analyzing of estimates)Establish and maintain existing relationships with Strategic Accounts (such as consultants and customers)Review all contracts and quotes for accuracyWrite up work orders and prepare material order sheetsPrepare and maintain a directory of product suppliersReview products used in projects (analyze cost etc.)Review bid opportunities and advise on the selection of bids to pursue.Consult and communicate with project managers, architects, engineers and clients involved at all levels of a projectPrepare construction progress schedulesDesired Qualifications3-5 years of experience estimating in the Architectural Metals/roofing industryLocal market knowledge preferredAbility to read plans and specificationsStrong computer skills and proficient with MS OfficeBlue Beam experience preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong Negotiation SkillsAbility to be a team player and work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and organization skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines#LI-DV1 Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including roofing, glazing, waterproofing, and architectural metals.
