About The Role StackPath is in search of an Enterprise Systems Architect to bootstrap an enterprise systems practice within the organization.

Reporting to the Chief Architect as a member of the Architecture team, you will be responsible for documenting the status quo for StackPath’s operational and business support systems, working with business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, defining a long-term roadmap, and then putting together a plan to iteratively improve efficiency and lower costs via a succession of initiatives.

You’ll work with a talented group of software engineers to design bespoke solutions and bring them to fruition, while also looking outside the organization to identify third-party solutions that can be integrated to add rapid value.

This role will be given a wide degree of latitude to define the solutions for StackPath’s enterprise architecture needs, requiring a self-motivated and passionate individual who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work making things happen.

Work with the Product Management team to enhance new product specifications with requirements for the OSS/BSS functionality required to support the integration of the product into StackPath’s internal processes and enterprise systems portfolio.

Research third-party solutions to enterprise systems challenges.

Work directly with vendors to understand their offerings, model their value proposition in the context of StackPath’s specific use cases, and compare their value relative to in-house developed solutions, inclusive of development and integration cost estimation and budgetary planning.

Create and present “build or buy” proposals to executive leadership to steer investment decisions.

Work with the Security and Compliance team to ensure solution adherence to all necessary privacy and security regulations (SOC2, PCI, GDPR, ISO27001, etc.).

Collaborate with the Engineering and Operations teams to translate enterprise systems requirements and specifications into solution designs.

Oversee the development of these solutions in an architectural capacity, and work with business stakeholders across the organization to facilitate successful delivery into the field.

Produce and maintain StackPath’s portfolio of enterprise systems architecture documentation, including artifacts in support of regularly scheduled security and compliance audits, software architecture diagrams, business process models, and data models linking data flow to their associated systems and business processes.

Act as the internal champion for OSS/BSS project rollouts, coordinating rollout scheduling, training, adoption, and turnup activities in collaboration with the Program Management team.
