– Key West Job Code 8872 of openings 1 Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?orgAKIMEKATECH&cws43&rid8872) The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for an Electrician to support the Facilities Infrastructure Preventative Maintenance and Repair specialized individuals, to support a customer located in Key West, Florida.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Will be required to perform preventative maintenance and repair measures of all electrical equipment in compliance with all NFPA and National Electrical Code (NEC) codes ensuring operational readiness and responding to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety and operational concerns.

Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in electrical systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.

Maintains knowledge of departmental equipment procedures for power outages and follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Must have at least three (3) years of journeyman electrician experience or be a current Graduate of Electrical trade school.

Previous experience shall include installing electrical equipment and systems for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: NFPA Certified Electrical Safety Worker Certification.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE: Must be a U.S.

citizen.

Must have at a minimum U.S.

Active Secret clearance, preferred to possess, and maintain a U.S.

Top Secret Clearance.
