As a Drupal Solution Architect, you will be leading the design and implementation of web based solutions. These frequently contain complex Content Management implementations. Additionally, you many need to lead the design of business object models, application business objects, business services, implementation framework and application services. You will be capturing the requirements for these services and identifying the techniques, design and implementation patterns, and technologies that should be applied at the architecture and application level. You are also responsible for helping to define the system and application architecture, functional and non-functional requirements and software services that the architecture, application and computing infrastructure must support. Working with other development team members, you are to determine the most appropriate architecture and application partitioning to achieve the performance, extensibility, reusability and scalability requirements. This individual must work with the Data Architects, Technical Application Architects and Designer Developers to ensure that application-level software component and services are derived from and consistent with the requirements, business object model (BOM) and software services. Your responsibilities may include, but not limited to Reviewing the business object model (Analysis and Design model) Driving the definition and specification of the business object models, reviewing technology object models Designing and implementing business objects, architecture and application frameworks and services specification Recommending, design and implement the appropriate architecture and application design for multiple projects Defining transition steps from the current to the future state application architecture, including interoperability Defining Functional, System and Architectural requirements Conducting design reviews of various software components to ensure they are designed to meet non-functional requirements such as ease of use, maintainability, re-usability, performance, scalability and extensibility Perform integration testing with QAs, Subject Matter Experts, and DesignersDevelopers Requirements – 5-10 years of overall experience, with a minimum 3 yearsrsquo experience in analyzingmiddot designing and deploying an Enterprise Architecture 3+ years of demonstrated experience creating, documenting and communicating a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 5+ years of PHP and Drupal development experience including o Drupal 7 (Nodes, Taxonomy, Ctools, Views, Panels, Forms API, Tokens, Domain Access, Drush) o Experience in building Drupal modules from scratch o PHP 5 (including handling XML and files, sessions, cookies, exceptions and errors handling) o Knowledge of PHP infrastructure and web application flow Knowledgeable of Architectural patterns and methodologies EA tools like System Architect or Mega or Pumpkins etc. Complete end-to-end knowledge of systems including process re-engineering, workflow automation, web portals development SW, SW environment (Unix, Linux, and Windows) and hardware Experience designing high performance, high availability systems
