Job Details
IT Infrastructure Leader Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for running technical Infrastructure operations and projects from Discovery to implementation of existing and new Enterprise Infrastructure Technologies
- Consolidate infrastructure and core IT technology functions across multiple business units
- Responsible for Retail Store Technology including POS, Warehouse Technology, Manufacturing plant technology and ecommerce technology
- Will lead Infrastructure initiatives dealing with Windows, Networks, Databases, Storage & Backups, Security, Application, Identity Management and Cloud technologies.
- Responsible for a team of IT professionals leading major IT initiatives across multiple lines of business, daily operations, and support.
- Manage vendor relationship for technology contracts and ensure SLAs are met
- Manage and groom the IT infrastructure team
- Defines IT Infrastructure requirements and plan then execute software and hardware lifecycles.
- Create strategies for IT technical risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Lead help desk support for multiple business units
- Efficiently identifies and solves operational issues including client impacting SLA’ s.
- Provide leadership to define business and IT opportunities and risks.
- Create and maintain technical and business documentation.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, or related IT field or related work experience in IT and Infrastructure Management
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as an IT Infrastructure professional.
- This will require a high degree of interpersonal and influencing skills and an ability to work cross-culturally to improve collaboration within IT at the global level.
- This should be an individual with a sense of both independence and urgency. He/She should have a solid background of autonomy and seeing initiatives through from beginning to end, with business impact and ROI defined. Our culture is fast-paced and dynamic. Someone who is looking for a lean, swift moving environment will be a good match. Additionally, someone looking for an army of support and a great deal of hand holding will not likely be the best fit.
- This person will need to bring a track record of hands-on, ‘ doing’ – being personally responsible for the strategy, execution and success of systems that have been national in nature and have impacted the bottom-line efficiency and success of an organization. Ideally, qualified candidates will have an experience base that involves Infrastructure & software development.
