The Position: Director of eCommerce IT/Sr.
Magento Solutions Architect Location: Chicago, IL Working Arrangements: On-site Essential Functions: Manage end to end development of front and back end of Magento 2 Further optimize current architecture while providing assessments and strategic roadmaps to achieve business objectives and resolve technical challenges Ensure sound integrations with external systems including OMS, CRM, ERP Direct all engineering and development activities of internal e-commerce development teams, external development contractors, and platform vendors Design, develop and implement optimal Magento 2 eCommerce solutions to best support the company’s e-commerce strategy Lead omni-channel initiatives such as BOPIS, Ship to Store, etc.
UX/UI improvements to ensure a smooth customer experience Analyze the costs, value and risks of new systems and technology, and provide sound, cost-effective recommendations to the owners and management Keep up to date with latest methodology within the commerce industry Create, implement, and enforce processes to achieve overall efficiency Provide technical oversight to team of Magento Developers and offshore outsourced support teams Qualifications: 4 years experience of experience with Magento 2 in a B2C capacity
– ideally in a role as Magento Architect or similar Minimum 5 years experience working in e-Commerce architecture, with minimum 3 years of management and strategic experience in the field Adobe Commerce Master and/or Adobe Developer Expert Certified The Ideal Candidate Has/Is: Exceptional work ethic and motivation to meet strict deadlines Proven track record exhibiting strong technical and architectural leadership skills Omnichannel experience a plus Excellent written and verbal communicator Outstanding organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and diligent task follow-through Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast
