– no C2C or 3rd Party No Visa Sponsorship is available for this role now or in the future Candidate must currently live within commutable distance from Waltham, MA or Hicksville, NY Job purpose The Informatica Architect is accountable to design business solutions that are fit for purpose, compliant and adhere to all operational, architectural and design standards and principles.
Ensure the integrity of solution designs from concept through implementation, balancing the architectural concerns of projects with concerns of the enterprise.
Ensure consideration of all design alternatives and provide technical guidance to wider project team and business stakeholders to ensure the successful roll out and adoption of Informatica Tools: Cloud Data Quality, Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon Data Governance.
Key Accountabilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering Informatica Assets for Data Quality, Data Catalog and Data Governance The candidate will own reviewing design elements and signing off on the overall technical design.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with the project teams.
The candidate must also have experience providing level of effort estimates for technical portion of solutions.
Candidate will work collaboratively with internal business teams, Data Governance and Enterprise Architects Required skills: 5 years professional experience, 2 years with Informatica Enterprise Data tools ideal Clarify and finalize detailed scope for migration from various on premise and cloud data platforms to Informatica tools Work with various SME’s in understanding business process flows, functional requirements specifications of existing system, their current challenges, constraints, and future expectations.
Document current state & prepare target state architecture.
Ask for & track reviews and feedback from peers.
Reporting for all the weekly tasks in form of accurate and detailed reports.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Master’s Degree preferred.
5 years IT and data experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience with Informatica Tools Integration product architecture experience with vendor products Technology design experience which includes Performance, Security, Availability, as well as Operations, Monitoring and Support Optional: Experience with architecting and enabling capabilities utilizing the following technologies: Linux OS, Snowflake and Microsoft Azure
