Data Architects at NAX

Data architects at NAX champion the enormous responsibility of ensuring that every aspect of our ventures is data-centric.

Functionally, they are able to institute the processes, systems, and technologies that make this focus possible.

As a data architect, you will interact with our clients, internal design teams, and senior leadership
– align each group and appropriately inform them on developing progress and overall objectives.

 

In this role, you will:
Design organization’s data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized individuals to use in the operations of the business Identify & document a company’s internal and external data sources, collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organizational needs, and use that information to create and maintain data infrastructure for company employees Conduct significant research into the interactions between order management systems, web applications, and other e-commerce systems to create a prioritized project roadmap for the various data integration projects that will be required  Collaborate with stakeholders including our corporate partners, financial operations, and other internal teams to incorporate customer feedback and business goals into the product’s features Apply a deep understanding of the technology required to save, import, and export the data required for a full-scale eCommerce company Leverage enterprise BUS and ETL tools to keep data up to date across a wide range of systems Lead the development of the ETL and Data Integration Projects Determine prioritizations of specific modules Build a team to help meet business goals and ensure a positive work culture Coordinate with the BI/AI, Web Application, Order Management System (Mirakl), and DevOps teams.

Forecast and assess the potential enterprise impact of your efforts to evaluate whether your solutions have performed as expected, all while continuously iterating and identifying new opportunities Own the quality of the product and be responsible for delivering world-class software in every release
You should have:
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a system analyst and project manager at a high-growth technology startup Ability to understand ETL and data integration requirements of the business while also being able to translate those into clear specifications for your team to build Strong, up-to-date understanding of technical aspects of enterprise application development, including the enterprise BUS, microservices, and lambda data architectures Ability to translate business goals into technical requirements for the engineering team Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them, tailoring your verbal and written communications to your audience Experience with third-party data integrations, payment processing infrastructure, and corporate invoicing infrastructure Ability to excel in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Ideally, you:
Have experience working with the Microsoft Azure stack, including SQL Server, Power Automate, Workflow, and Dynamics/365.

Have significant previous experience developing e-commerce and supporting tech systems.  Are passionate about e-commerce and marketplace development Have led multiple teams in sprint-style development with regular release cycles
