3 years of Procurement 3 Years of Purchasing Experience in Production Planning a plusComputer Skills: MRP or ERP Software, Microsoft Office, and Excel ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSWill use excellent communication skills to communicate with suppliers and present information to internal staff.Will use strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Work with available market data to forecast, plan, and evaluate procurement solutions.Create and work with various reports to ensure on time delivery, quality, and favorable pricing from our suppliers.Work with our engineering team to source materials and initiate, set up, and develop supplier relations.Work with MRP to ensure raw materials are available for production.Update ERP system and spreadsheets with additional information obtained regarding delivery of materials, pricing, supplier information, etc.Contact suppliers for missing paperwork on shipments and work with A/P on any payment or pricing issues.Work with Materials Manager to control PPV.Work with Receiving and Production Departments to ensure all shipments are received into our system.Update current supplier information and raw material data into our ERP system.Collect supplier evaluation data and work with suppliers on evaluation results and necessary actions required.
