The Work: You’ll often be: Creating and capturing environment sounds during field recordings, directing voice recording sessions, mixing and mastering audio through in-game testing, and tracking content creation and QA with project management software.
Owning the design of XR applications-from client requirements gathering and ideation to visual and experience design, developer collaboration, and project execution.
Developing games that use proprietary audio engines or middleware such as Audiokinetic Wwise or FMod Studio .
Designing sound for real-time 2D and 3D applications.
Collaborating with clients to determine needs and assess project goals or with programmers to implement assets using Unity Engine.
Pioneering the Metaverse by advancing the use of its many building blocks: Multiparty Systems & Blockchain, Extended Reality, Digital Identity, Hardware (AR/VR Goggles & Lenses), Software (Gaming Platforms & Virtual Worlds), etc.

Here’s what you need: Minimum of 3 years ‘ experience in audio for AAA games Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with both commercial and proprietary audio, as well as implementation tools on multiple platforms and workstations Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Unity Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a sound designer Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
(If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) Professional Skills Requirement: A self-motivated individual who works well when left on his/her own Game audio credits on at least one major shipped title Bonus points if you are/have: Fundamental DSP experience (e.g.
Kyma , Reaktor , Max / MSP) Experience implementing sounds in Unreal Understanding of fundamental programming Level-design style scription for audio implementation Previous work on AR/VR projects Desire to work on projects in the Metaverse space As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado.
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $111,000
