Visual Merchandising Designer

Visual Merchandising Designer As a visual merchandising designer, you will develop retail store executions
– bringing to life both our brand attributes alongside seasonal initiatives that align with our corporate goals.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
– Collaborates with department manager, director, and category teams to develop visual merchandising solutions for in store promotions, product launches and programs
– Understands and implements the strategy of the brief and backgrounders through visual merchandising options of Lobby Merchandise, Packaged Food and Food Case
– Organizes complex merchandising information into visuals and creates directive content for retail level implementation
– Manages competing priorities of projects to align with Company prioritization
– Develops plans for assigned projects, executes, and evaluates results
– Supports department projects and programs that promote brand identity and enhance the customer experience.

– Collaborates with internal studio teams on assigned projects Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
– Retail visual merchandising experience 2-4 years
– Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
– Strong aesthetic and design skills.

Able to articulate design concepts through illustration or other visual means
– Strong analytical and assessment skills to apply to assortment grids, creation of sign grids, and information management that informs visual merchandising
– Strong presentation skills
– Articulate excellent written and verbal skills
– Proven strength in problem analysis and creative problem solving
– Strong organizational skills
– Act and work with a sense of urgency, prioritize accordingly and consistently meet deadlines
– Ability to build effective working relationships with cross functional teams and individuals
– Aware of trends and competitive influences and is able to apply in daily creative thinking
– Proficient in Mac programs, Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign Job Type: Contract
