Originate is looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join the design team in our New York Studio.
As a Senior Product Designer at Originate, you’ll get your hands dirty tackling complex business problems while collaborating with other designers, developers, and product managers to define, build, and iterate solutions for our clients and partners.

Job Overview
-Lead end-to-end design on projects, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand the problem, set out an approach, generate insight through user research and prototyping, and deliver completed products.
-Craft wireframes, designs, prototypes, style guides, and other collateral as needed.
-Help guide, advise, and inspire your fellow designers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Intuitive to the needs of the clients, designers, and cross-discipline teams.
- Articulate challenges and opportunities.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and can execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Work iteratively, collaborating closely with various project teams and clients to define problems and goals.
- Design elegant flows and interactions for a global audience across platforms.
- Ability to give and receive feedback from other designers and cross-disciplinary partners.
- The ability to think about product and design strategically, juggling multiple (often competing) priorities and goals.
- Outstanding visual design skills spanning UI design, typography, color theory, layout, and general art direction.
- Humility, curiosity, and a passion for sharing knowledge.

YOU HAVE…
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of cross-platform design experience (Web, Android, iOS).
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design.
- Core strengths in visual design, spanning UI, brand, iconography, and art direction.
- Experience working with standard prototyping tools (Figma, InVision, Framer)
- Strong knowledge of design tools and workflows.
- Proficiency in, and examples of, how you resolve complex design challenges.
- A solid understanding of how behavior and transition impact design.
- Clear written and verbal communication style.
