WAVE.tv is a sports media company for Gen Z & Millennial fans.

Through a portfolio of 24 media brands, WAVE.tv entertains modern-day sports fans with programming they love, produced for the digital platforms where they spend the most time.

We build the most engaged digital communities for fans by distributing programming, creating content, and building products and experiences to serve their current fandoms and help them discover new ones.

WAVE.tv’s programming can be discovered across Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more.

Our portfolio of brands has over 80 million followers/subscribers (85% 13-34 y/o), reaching over 400 million sports fans across the world each month, generating over 5 billion monthly content views.

WAVE.tv is seeking an experienced digital content leader to develop and execute our Soccer brand & programming strategy.

In this role you will refine our Soccer brand identity, build a compelling content strategy that aligns with the brand vision, and lead the execution of programming and community building efforts across social and digital platforms.

We’re looking for someone who loves Soccer, knows how to build and maintain a unique brand, and is an expert in entertaining and scaling online communities.

Core Responsibilities
Lead and manage implementation and execution of the Soccer brand strategy Develop a programming strategy and content calendar in alignment with the above brand principles.

Drive consistency with the vision, mission, and purpose of Soccer Brand Execute projects in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Partnerships, Revenue, Betting, etc.) Direct a team of content creators to create unique, engaging, optimized social content in line with brand strategy and goals Collaborate with external partners to create and execute promotional or organic content campaigns Collaborate with Platform and Development leads to optimize output strategy for assigned vertical Manage and prioritize projects autonomously, using time and resources efficiently Leverage knowledge of Soccer and social media landscapes to maximize content engagement and exposure Direct programming strategy in a fast-paced environment that is reactive to sports and culture Collaborate with sales department to develop and execute compelling branded content campaigns.

Leverage analytics to optimize programming strategy and output Meet brand, revenue, partnership and other internal/external targets.

 Qualifications
Expert in successfully building + scaling brands across digital platforms 7+ years producing highly engaged social media content Deep understanding of Soccer culture and the professional landscape Expert in creating a viral social media strategy across Snap, FB, YT, IG, and other social platforms, and using data to inform and optimize content output Skilled in content production and executing creative projects from concept to completion Strong sense of social media style geared toward a younger Millennial/Gen-Z audience.

Experience in fast-paced, tight deadline, production team work environment.
