Senior Product Designer

Other core values at Rain: radical transparency and zero ego.We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Senior Product Designer to join our team. You will help us build a clear understanding of Rain’s end-users through product discovery in order to then create a great user interface experience. You will be responsible for updating design advancements, which includes a user journey that is effective, user-friendly, and appealing, in accordance with Rain’s product vision. You will also be responsible for being the voice of the customer, bringing user context to all the product flows.ResponsibilitiesComplete understanding of all product requirements, protocols, and technical implementations of all our services, tools, and appsDesign graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, widgets, page navigation buttons, and search fields that can adhere to style standardsCreate original graphic designs and develop UI mockups and prototypes that can clearly illustrate how the product works and looks likeAbility to learn and integrate new software programs and tools. Can identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problemsFacilitate product vision and delivery by prototyping user testing experiencesConduct adjustments based on user feedbackImplement, guide, and improve design systemsWork and collaborate with Product Managers, Front-End and Back-Enddevelopers, and other engineering team membersAbility to find the right balance between the business needs and user goals (Be a Grey Jedi)Skills and Qualifications5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a product or design-focused tech companyProven work in UI/UX design experience or similar roleStrong knowledge in UI/UX software like Figma, Adobe XD, or InvisionExperience with surveys, user interviews, and testingEnglish fluency to interact with stakeholders in several countriesProven experience with Design System implementationA portfolio showcasing your work, demonstrating a strong design process andstorytelling skillsSelf-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, withability to collaborate with PMs and engineersThe Rain Instant Pay app provides early wage access for employees at mid to large-sized organizations to improve financial wellness and increase employee productivity.With 63% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, financial wellness tools are an important part of any employee benefits package.
