SENIOR LEVEL FF&E DESIGNER – Venice Beach, CA Studio
Act as Senior FF&E designer under guidance of Creative Director & Design Director’s creative direction. Duties include: overseeing & developing various Project’s FF&E Designs & Concepts, sourcing for unique furnishings (Retail & Vintage), developing custom FF&E designs, coordinating with Project consultants, creating and maintaining project budget(s), FF&E spec books, and coordinating with the Interior’s project drawing set(s) as well as overseeing procurement process during the fabrication process.
- Lead Project Design team with design planning and FF&E concepts
- Manage all budgeting, ordering, expediting, and scheduling for commercial interior design projects
- Create and track purchase orders as needed
- Develop custom FF&E drawings for a variety of furnishings, lighting and related
- Help Design team with project presentations ( both computer and hand rendered )
- Act as Studio’s liaison with vendors and contractors, including visits to project sites and vendor workrooms to check progress of fabrication and construction
- Communicate clearly and frequently with clients, vendors and contractors
- Attend project meetings and site visits either alone or with Principal(s)
- Coordinate and assist with on-site project installations
- Manage other office personnel, including project design team members, runners and interns
- 3-D Rendering capabilities and Spanish speaking & communicating a PLUS ++
