High-end Los Angeles interior design firm is looking for
Los Angeles BASED Senior Interior
Designer to join our team.
To be successful in this position you will need background in design, architecture and/or construction.
The Designer will oversee project from start to finish and work closely with the Principal.
Luxury residential and hospitality experience a must.
Knowledge of high-end furniture vendors and sources, custom furniture production is required.
This is a growing position within an extremely high-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Lead interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents.
*Maintain & monitor project profitability and schedule adherence.
*Coordinate and manage project communications, contracts, budgets and schedules.
*Liaise with client representatives, legal teams, project managers, subcontractors, vendors & other 3rd parties.
*Monitor the progress of the team, evaluate team performance, and provide timely, effective feedback to the team.
*Partner with owner and other team members to impart, implement and monitor interior design standards.
*Identify the client’s project goals, objectives and communicate this information to the project team.
*Assemble the project team and assign roles to team members.
*Oversee production of all custom furnishings, manage all relevant manufacturers, and insure timely delivery of product for job installations.
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
*Degree in interior design, architecture, or construction or equivalent work experience.
*MUST know Studio Designer
*Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a firm in an interior design, production or management role.
*Strong leadership skills
*Excellent written & verbal communications skills.
*Detail oriented, ability to multi task, work autonomously
*Problem solving & creative solution skills.
*Ability to adapt to changing business environments, maintain all construction schedules
*Proficiency with AutoCAD & Studio Designer software a plus
*Knowledge of FF&E and furniture specifications
*MUST BE LOS ANGELES BASED

Pay: $32.00
– $45.00 per hour
