As the Senior Designer, you lead the creative direction and execution of all Four Sigmatic branded materials, whether physical, digital, static or in motion.
You are responsible for transforming the vision of the brand into reality, by leading internal and external creative teams and working with all functions across the organization
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the development of Four Sigmatic creative assets for omni channel marketing; including packaging, digital, print, retail, out of home, experiential, and everywhere else
* Enforce, defend, and optimize brand guidelines to bring brand cohesion and consistency to each piece of creative
* Manage in-house graphic designer and a team of freelancers, photographers, and other creative people, adding or removing as needed to achieve company goals
* Produce assets and messaging that are suited for different marketing and sales channels and audiences, while maintaining the brand narrative
* Assist with strategic planning for product launches, retail activations, promotions, and other marketing initiatives
* Bring a creative mindset to the Brand Team that extends beyond the design world
* Excel at cross-functional collaboration and communication
* Develop a deep understanding of consumers to inform strong creative development
* Manage the budget for creative projects, photoshoots, and freelancers, with detailed accounting responsibilities
* Work quickly and efficiently within short deadlines and be willing to pivot as company priorities shift
* Work closely with third party agencies to to produce final designs for various media channels
Requirements
* Based in Los Angeles area, remote optional
* BA or BFA in graphic design or related field
* 10+ years experience in design, creative management, or art direction
* Consumer Goods (CPG) experience on an in-house team, serving retail and d2c
* People management experience and team player mentality
* Excellent portfolio, demonstrating clear understanding of brand marketing
* Expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
* Preferred knowledge of: Keynote, Sketch and/or Firma
* Competent with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point)
* Excellent project management skills and experience using Hive (or Asana or Monday)
* Excellent time management skills and grace under pressure
* Positive and open to feedback, strong communicator, organized, out-of-the-box thinker, and strong attention to detail
* Natural products experience, or a personal interest in better-for-you products
* Ability to travel 10-20%
