As the Senior Creative Manager, your primary focus will be guiding creative agencies to insure they not only reflect the XBOX brand voice but continue to innovate and connect with audiences.
You’ll help craft briefs and provide feedback and direction as we continue to elevate our social media presence.
Not afraid to get your hands dirty, you will also partner with creative agencies around the globe, working to resize assets for paid campaigns.
With one foot in the trenches and one foot out, you will be part of the team evolving our iconic brand, forging design and strategy together to create inspired outcomes.
We are looking for a social first design expert who understands the value of conceptual thinking, storytelling, and inclusive design.
You need to be a highly motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic person who thrives in an environment of growth and collaboration.
You must have a strong sense of design and an ability to simplify complex ideas.

You will help develop, evolve and manage the visual direction and tone Xbox and Xbox Game Pass alongside our agency partners.
This will include providing feedback and guidance across teams within the Xbox org.
You are comfortable managing up and presenting to senior stakeholders, communicating design strategy in an effective way.
You have a wide variety of design experience but understand how to shift creative tone and approach to reach multiple generations with a heavy focus on GenZ focused creative campaigns.
This could be the ideal role for you if you are an experienced designer, great listener, fearless explorer, have a solid background in driving creative innovation, adept and working across a multiple agency structure, and have the ability to quickly understand and articulate creative concepts that keep the gamer at the core.
Responsibilities
- Actively support and evolve the priorities of the Xbox Social Team
- Ideation, design, customization, and execution of campaign creative assets
- Create story-, mood-, and vision boards
- Drive refinement of creative briefs
- Spearhead change for Xbox owned social properties
- Serve as a brand steward and champion internally and externally
- Clearly communicate creative concepts to multiple audiences, ensuring the idea is understood and aligned across key partners and leadership
- Work collaboratively with other creative agency teams (designers, writers, brand managers, etc.) as well as cross-functional teams at Xbox
- Provide direction and feedback to our internal partners and external agencies (feedback that drives the strategic needs and creative expression of the brand)
- Provide design choices and creative rationale
- Stay up to date on and share trends across the social ecosystem
Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital design and brand experience
- Available online portfolio demonstrating range of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience designing and prototyping with a variety of tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Cinema 4D, or After Effects
- Experience developing brand systems and associated assets
- Experience with motion design
- Positive attitude and growth mindset
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on socialmarketing campaigns
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to wide range of audiences and levels within the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as a contributor
- An active listener with a proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from reviewers and stakeholders
- Working knowledge of the current state of web and mobile technology and best practices
- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals
- Experience working in a creative agency setting
