· Provide BIM support of project teams; interprets and produces drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, and / or notes.
· Analyse sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete deliverables as required with minimal supervision.
· Understand and implement software and operating systems.
· Conduct and apply project research as directed.
· Understand and assist in the organization of plans, sections, details, and elevations.
· Manage submittal production for medium sized projects.
· Assist in the submittal production for medium / large projects.
· At the direction of the project leaders, work with the consultants and assist in the coordination of their work.
· Exhibit good time management skills and completes tasks on schedule.
· Adhere to office standards of design, quality control, and production.
· Review own work for accuracy.
· Manage distribution and filing of incoming and outgoing documentation.
· A degree in Architecture, Engineering or equivalent.
· 4+ years structural drafting experience or related experience.
· Good verbal communication skills, including listening and questioning.
· Good analytical skills; ability to assess risks/obstacles and provide positive alternative solutions
· Good time management skills.
· Dedicated to providing excellent support to all stakeholders.
· Intermediate level Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam software skills
· Possess ability to create and manage Revit families
· Additional software skills: Basic PowerPoint: Intermediate Word, Outlook,Excel.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Team player: works with project team.
