POSITION TITLE Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG) is looking to recruit a full-time, experienced, general neurologist to take over an established solo neurology practice within a large multispecialty group due to the current neurologist retiring .
LOCATION TPMG Neurology Carrollton, Virginia, a midsized town in Eastern Virginia, with proximity to local popular business areas in Greater Hampton Roads POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Outpatient only general neurology evaluation and management (E/M); well established practice, with great potential to grow and expand In office procedures including NCS/EMG, EEG, Botox injections for chronic migraines, TPIs, etc.
No night/weekend calls or inpatient E/M responsibilities at all Work schedule is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, can be flexible based on needs Autonomy of the on-site office management, with strong support by the large group of TPMG, in admin, IT, billing, and more Widespread and strong referral base from within the TPMG group and outside local providers in the Greater Hampton Roads areas, mainly in Suffolk, Smithfield, Peninsula, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, and eastern North Carolina Potential for partnership Acupuncture skill is not mandated, but training can be provided by the current neurologist, if the candidate is interested POSITION REQUIREMENTS Board certified neurologist with private practice experience at least 2 years Competent with skills of NCS/EMG, EEG (professional part), Botox injections for chronic migraine Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted Medical license in Virginia Familiar with general private practice, EHR, and telemedicine Good communication skills with passion for patient care COMPANY DESCRIPTION TPMG is the largest physician-owned practice in Eastern Virginia, comprised of over 200 multispecialty physicians and advanced practice clinicians in over 90 offices throughout the Greater Hampton Roads.
