Our healthcare client’s e-Business group is looking for a senior-level Visual Designer to join its User Experience team. The User Experience team is responsible for the look and feel of the client’s websites, as well as other online experiences. The Senior Web Designer is responsible for interpreting requirements, conceptualizing and creating innovative design solutions for our internal clients on a wide range of projects.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design, and implement a broad range of deliverables ranging from large scale design systems, marketing campaigns, online newsletters, email templates, banners, and everything in-between. Work collaboratively with business stakeholders and the UX design team, including interaction designers, information architects, writers and editors. Partner with development teams and QA to ensure designs are implemented correctly for a flawless user experience. Share in the creation, maintenance and implementation of design standards and guidelines in the continued evolution of the client’s online experience. Maintain and nurture stake-holder relationships, ensuring requirements are received, interpreted and implemented with the best possible balance between business and customer needs. Experience & Competencies BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Web Design, or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of experience designing consumer-facing online interfaces. Ability to creative inspired design solutions along multiple priorities and timelines. Ability to evangelize and implement fundamental concepts, practices and procedures relating to the Online Visual Design field. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance aesthetics, innovation and usability. Excellent problem-solving, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders toward the best solution. Ideal candidate will have corporate experience in healthcare, finance or similar fields. Technical Skills Expert proficiency in Adobe Suite, with emphasis on Photoshop/Fireworks, and Illustrator. Experience working in Agile development highly desired. Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS, and how designs translate to code.
