Overview: The Lead Product Designer for Cards will use their creativity, analytical skills and problem solving abilities to help C2FO deliver a new product offering in the payments space (in collaboration with many others, especially Product Managers and Engineers).

They will ensure those designs are impactful, easy to use, and align with the needs of a wide range of user personas leveraging competitive analysis, iterative design, and user research.

Furthermore, they will evangelize the value of user-centered design throughout the business and mentor other designers to help lift the whole team.

Responsibilities: * Collaborate with Product Management, User Research, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to deliver world-class designs catered to the needs of small/medium business owners and finance specialists* Proactively seek out problems and opportunities in the customer experience and work with others to get them prioritized and resolved* Conduct user interviews to understand customer needs and pain points* Conduct and observe usability studies to understand what is and is not working with a given design* Create user journey maps, service diagrams, and workflow models to facilitate broad understanding of the customer experience throughout the business* Create wireframes and prototypes to test and iterate on* Create user interface designs which align to the C2FO design system and inclusive design best practices* Mentor less experienced designers and provide constructive feedback on other designers’ work* Review engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with design intent* Use metrics and data to define and report on the success of design initiatives Qualifications: * 8+ years experience in digital product design, UX/UI design or a related field with demonstrated success delivering meaningful and impactful design solutions on digital platforms* Experience designing financial applications for payments (e.g., apps for managing digital payments and/or credit cards)* Has a degree in human-computer interaction, industrial design, graphic design or a similar field, or equivalent industry experience* Expert-level skills in information architecture and interaction design* Advanced skills in user research and visual design* Strong communication and presentation skills* Strong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills* Experience in B2B finance is a plus* Experience designing mobile native applications (iPhone, Android) is a plu Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.
