The Lead Designer is responsible for bridging the design gap between marketing and product, ensuring that each asset meets or exceeds the standards of overall design, layout, and the Soothe brand guidelines. This role will be accountable for conceptual development and innovative creative solutions for all the marketing needs for all Soothe products. The designer will have the opportunity to design, organize, and coordinate site assets, landing pages, and graphics that meet business, customer requirements, and brand creative standards. The designer will translate customer strategy, business goals, and objectives into engaging concepts. In this role, you will be able to show off your creative skills, design capabilities, and evolve the Soothe brand to the next level.Essential Functions:Design materials that enhance Soothe’s brand and the overall customer experience.Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product and engineering, and operations.Conceptualize, develop, and build a wide variety of creative assets (in-app, print, web, CRM, social, content etc.) to support marketing, product, and sales initiatives.Collaborate with a team of creative marketers and copywriters to bring visual ideas to life from concept to execution and iterate based on feedback from team members and partners.Present campaigns to leadership for feedback and approval.Job Duties:Follow brand standards and actively develop graphic standards.Lead the development of marketing assets for but not limited to: email, affiliate, paid social, media, site, mobile, and app.Manage workflow to meet business and creative deadlines.Review all assets, ensuring overall quality, proper placement, grammar, and typography.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):Must have a Bachelor’s degree; a Graphic Design focus is preferredMust have 4+ years of experience in marketing design working on a consumer-facing brand or at an agency; experience with app-based businesses is a plusHigh proficiency with Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and other related programs essentialA strong portfolio of design, showing an excellent sense of typography, layout, web and digital design principlesStrong technical proficiency working in a Mac environmentStrong communication skills.
