Job Summary
The Brand & Creative Agency is a strategic partner and creative outlet for the entire enterprise.

The Team works with internal partners to customize, execute, and deliver based on business need while partnering with external vendors as needed.

The Lead, Account role guides the development and execution of marketing materials in support of new and existing clients.

This role can work within multiple areas of specialized responsibility and assists in contributing towards overall Marketing and Agency team goals.

The ideal candidate will oversee the intake and management of communications projects, reviewing all projects for global impact, and helping the team understand, recognize and remove barriers.

The candidate must be able to represent the communication function in cross-department initiatives, working along-side Manager, Brand & Creative Agency, and at times be the face for Brand & Creative Agency when informing and influencing senior leadership.
Job Description

Essential Job Functions

Client relationships: Represents the Brand & Creative Agency team and directly faces internal clients.

Ensures clients feel heard, appreciated and guided through the process of engaging an in-house agency for creative needs.

Is adept at handling difficult or sensitive conversations, setting expectations for intake, timing and prioritization with clients and creative team, as well as managing those expectations to budgets.

Goes deep into understanding all internal clients and their unique challenges, goals and strategies.

Uses the ability to forge strong and lasting relationships with clients to help them achieve their goals while at the same time inspiring the Agency to deliver outstanding work.

Project Agreement: Critical to the role is the ability of the account professional to reach agreement, or alignment, between the Agency and the client on all projects with the support of Manager, Brand & Creative Agency.

Using the skill of relationship management, this role will navigate the art of conversation, and rely on the ability to ask the right questions at the right time.

This role also has the ability to gather information without putting either party on guard or in a defensive position.

Consistently finds positive outcomes.

Project Management: Manages all aspects of project development in support of new and existing internal clients across multiple specialized areas.

Partners with traffic or vendor to set and adjust timelines on an ongoing basis.

Accountable for managing project timeline communication and ensuring partners and clients work to follow.

Authors creative briefs to bring clarity to the request, articulating insights and nuances to projects ensuring both clients and creatives align on expectations.

Leadership: Introduces and shares best practices within the team and department.

If there are no direct reports, has a formal role in associate mentoring/on-boarding and is a proxy for direct manager, contributing to talent evaluation process when applicable.

Reports to: Manager, Brand & Creative Agency

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment, some travel may be required.

Direct Reports: 0-2 direct reports

Minimum Qualifications : 

High School Diploma or equivalent

Five years or more  experience with Client management, b usiness to business marketing, expertise in corporate brandin g , creative and communications.

Preferred Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree  in Marketing , Communications, Business, Creative

Five years or more experience with Client relationships, account management, leadership, business, internal or corporate agency
