Summary
We’re looking for an experienced global brand leader to head up the brand and creative team for Kuaishou’s International Business.
As our chief brand strategist, manager, and creative, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage world class agencies, and partner with global and regional stakeholders to evolve, launch, and scale the Kuaishou brand globally.
Your impact will be felt across the business, driving increased awareness, organic user growth, creator and partner interest, and ultimately helping Kuaishou to secure an outsized share of the global short and live video market, as that market continues to grow exponentially.
This role will report directly to the Head of Global Marketing.
Responsibilities
Build a core team and launch a new global brand in your first 12 months Lead year-round brand strategy, management, content creation and campaign development Establish global brand insights, frameworks, playbooks, and toolkits for regional execution Manage senior reports who lead global media, creative, and research teams Partner with other marketing and x-functional teams to ensure that brand strategy and creative infuses User Growth, Product, Content, Partnerships, HR/Employer and every touchpoint
Qualifications
Ambition to positively impact global culture and the next generation of social media 15+ years experience as a brand leader in-house and/or at brand creative agencies Deep experience leading brand building initiatives from research to integrated execution Experience originating brand strategies and creative concepts globally, then partnering with internal and agency teams to successfully activate those concepts regionally and locally Proven ability to establish a challenger brand position, redefine an established category, capture mainstream consumer interest, and thereby grow share of market from a strong incumbent Experience in consumer tech, social media, and streaming video strongly preferred Organized and detail-oriented, but also comfortable operating in a dynamic, startup-like environment where teams may need to rapidly evolve or pivot plans as needs and priorities change
