Position Summary:
Create key art for various concerts, performances, tours, etc. for AEG Presents. Our graphic designer will work closely with the Art Director and the Creative Director on most projects. Typically, our team is tasked with creating original art based on provided instructions and assets, transforming approved art into digital and print materials used for national and local campaigns. This role not only takes tasks and projects through successful completion, but also diagnoses issues and proposes viable solutions. This role excels at time management and has a firm understanding of all levels of production. Our designers are also very flexible and tend to multitask between numerous projects throughout the day depending on the demand.
Essential Functions:
Handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines
Create conceptual designs that communicate the key ideas effectively
Carry design projects from concept through completion
Stay up to date with industry trends
Ensure design files and working folders are organized consistently
Demonstrate ability to think creatively
Adhere to brand guidelines of AEG Presents and its entities
Required Qualifications:
A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Graphic Design, Entertainment, Marketing or a related field
3-5+ years of creative design experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Ability to communicate effectively with non-designers on projects
Self-starter, able to think creatively to solve problems
Strong knowledge and interest in design
Ability to multi-task and work in a face paced environment
Experience with creating digital and print collateral (i.e. Banners, social media assets, web skins, Outdoor, print ads etc.)
Committed to continuous learning and personal development
Knowledge of music industry is a plus
