FOX Broadcasting is looking for an experienced, driven, and versatile Director, Special Projects, Creative Advertising who can manage a multitude of projects while also working their creative magic on them.

Whether launching a streaming original or a new FOX series, developing a great brand sizzle, cutting a timely PSA, or overseeing the production of a preview special, the Director, Special Projects, Creative Advertising will have their hands on a bevy of far-reaching projects designed to keep them creatively inspired while also working with, and serving, a cross-section of teams: Streaming, PR, Digital/Social, Creative Services, Programming, and more.

Candidates should be thoughtful, strategic, and resourceful creative leaders, who foster dynamic relationships internally and externally, think fast on their feet, and are able to make audiences feel something with every piece they oversee or produce.

This position will report to the SVP, Creative Advertising, A/V, but partner with all members of the AV Team, and work in collaboration with various teams across the FOX Broadcasting and Entertainment portfolios.

A Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

• Conceive, write, produce, manage, and review (and edit, if applicable) a wide range of creative needs including, individual titles, brand sizzles, shoot concepts, PSA work, internal presentations, and other things we haven’t even thought of yet

• Lead an in-house Writer/Producer and collaborate with members of the A/V group and outside partners to develop inspiring and visionary work in a meaningful partnership

• Actively lead and foster positive working relationships

• Present work to upper management on a regular basis

• Stay on top of musical, digital, social, and cultural trends

What You Will Need

• A minimum of 7 years in either management or Senior Writer/Producer level, with several years managing direct reports

• Skilled in a wide range of creative avenues including live-action production, launching series, brand work, working with talent, pro-social campaigns, etc.

• Experience working with internal and external creative teams

• Ability to juggle numerous creative projects simultaneously

• Ability to manage multiple budgets and timelines

• Must be a motivated self-starter

• Must be a strategic thinker with the capability to think ‘outside the box’

• Strong positive communication skills are essential

• While editing prowess is not required, some experience is preferred
