Media.Monks is recruiting an in-house Creative Recruiter to recruit new Monks for our creative production monasteries in the US.

In this role, you’ll work alongside our in-house Talent Monk(s) to help attract, recruit and retain the best talent for MediaMonks and to make sure that our processes are as up to speed as the pace we hire.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing and initial screening to offer for roles including: Production Designers, Art Directors, Copywriters, Creative Directors, Animators, Editors, Creative Producers and many other creative roles.
  • Partner with team leads to follow up on the most promising creative candidates.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline in Greenhouse.
  • Participate in recruitment driven DE&I initiatives.
  • Ensure we are always on top of the game when it comes to creating an all-star candidate experience, and serving as the face of MediaMonks to update candidates along the way.
  • Set up MediaMonks for future success by constantly challenging existing processes, developing and executing a recruitment strategy and proactively identifying talent for vacancies that don’t even exist yet.
  • Constantly check new recruitment platforms, job boards, events and other channels MediaMonks could use for employer branding and recruitment purposes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a creative recruiter , or talent acquisition manager at a creative agency, creative staffing agency and/or start up.
  • You are well connected and willing to turn every rock to find top-tier talent that will take our teams to the next level.
  • You’re eager to learn about the top players in the field and reputation of companies in different markets to easily approximate the strength of people’s CVs.
  • You have a track record of optimizing talent acquisition beyond just recruitment, including ATS implementation, DE&I initiatives, manager training, employer branding, campus recruiting, mentorship, and beyond.
  • You are familiar with creative job boards, networks and sourcing techniques.
  • You’re a go-getter, self-starter and networker.
  • You’re able to keep your head cool when things get heated and managing multiple tasks at the same time seems like a no-brainer for you.
  • You’re confident in liaising with external recruitment agencies and approaching candidates directly.
  • You are eager to work as part of a super informal company, and also know how to convey this vibe to candidates.
  • Our ideal candidate is calm under pressure, adaptable and flexible with company changes, and solutions oriented.
