Position: Color Designer

Our sports apparel retail client seeks a Color Designer for this 3+ month hybrid freelance role!
Responsibilities:
- Creatively explore new ways to bring color vision to life on key franchises
- Support in palette creation, seasonal research, design presentations: physical and digital
- Support team in efficient color strategy across inline design projects
- Create technical color CADs and supporting documents for Collection design projects
- Deliver/present color CAD handovers to the cross-functional team
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to work through complex and ambiguous projects while maintaining positivity, productivity, and speed
- Ability to quickly shift focus when design direction changes
- Proficient understanding of the product creation process
- Proficient knowledge of footwear color, materials, construction, and production
- Strong color CAD tech pack efficiency
- Strong knowledge and use of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
