Compensation Expectations: $165,000-$185,000

Summary:

The role of Brand Designer will be to author, share and merchandise ideas in a cogent and inspiring manner. The ideal candidate is passionate about graphic design, typography, photography, motion and illustration, and can deliver highly resolved works at the intersection of culture and design. Candidates must sit in Los Angeles, California for this hybrid opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Can think creatively and implement quickly, laterally, independently or collaboratively
  • Experienced in developing and executing a marketing design, and has an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences
  • Keeps up with the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies and resources
  • Collaborates well with other creatives and creative producers and cross-functional to solve complex problems with simple solutions
  • Has a keen understanding of local market creative and cultural nuances
  • Able to work on a global teams, across time zones, date lines and traditional routine

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years relevant design experience; Design or advertising agency experience preferred
  • Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in delivering strong creative ideas across digital, social or static and print media
  • Bachelors degree in Graphic, Information, Communication, Web design or related
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills
  • Strong command of visual and communication design principles
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Clear and concise communicator displaying strong organization, teamwork skills
  • A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions to the wider creative / management team
