A high-end manufacturer of hand-made rugs sourced by top Interior Designers and Architects across the US and abroad, with showroom locations in New York and Los Angeles, is looking to hire an Associate Graphic Designer. This position is located at our showroom in the La Cienega Design Quarter.
The Associate Graphic Designer will create and design various materials for digital collateral. They will work with the Marketing Manager to deliver monthly email marketing, website updates and assist with website maintenance. The role is on location as the Associate Graphic Designer will be learning the brand and products in order to be successful in creating digital collateral. This person must understand the urgency of deadlines and be able to prioritize projects.
General Duties:
- Email marketing for product launches and event invites
- Promotional decks and tear sheets
- Creating graphics for IG stories and the like
- Design printed promotional materials such as booklets, stationery, business cards, etc
- Creating and editing graphics for website updates
- Website product uploads, product edits
Qualifications:
- Expert in layouts, graphic design, typography, print, and the web
- Adobe CC Suite programs including, but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD (or Figma)
- Experience using MailChimp or similar email marketing platforms
- Working knowledge of Magento or other e-commerce platforms
- Compelling portfolio of work with experience with luxury brands
- Time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Can take direction and handle constructive criticism
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
