Big Oil Co is a fast paced and quickly growing Cannabis company that is looking for superstars to join our team.
We are seeking an Art Director/Senior Graphic Designer to join our team!
You will create media to meet a commercial or promotional need.
The Art Director/Senior Graphic Designer will work closely with all departments as well as the C-Suite to create meaningful and memorable content.

Responsibilities:
Creating eye-catching graphics and engaging designs
Handling graphic projects from start to finish
Developing and maintain image library files
Coordinating with outside agencies and services as needed
Submitting rough layouts for project approval
Inspiring and guiding a team of creatives to accomplish a project
Determining the layout and style of visual messages and marketing materials
Deciding on which art, photos and other creative elements will be included in a project
Reviewing and approving designs, artwork and other components of a project
Formulating timeline and budgets for creative projects
Training team members on creating artwork for mediums such as packaging and logos
Working with product and merchandising teams to ensure a streamlined creative approach
Presenting completed design projects to clients for approval
Qualifications:
Previous experience in graphic design or other related fields
Knowledge of design and photo-editing software
Possess graphic design portfolio
Deadline and detail-oriented
Must be a bright, articulate, self-starter who can take initiative and bring new ideas to the table
Must be able to help lead a team of graphic designers
Must have a strong art direction and graphic design background
Professional, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent follow-through, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively and to successfully manage concurrent and competing projects
Video production experience
You will be expected to adhere to a high level of confidentiality
3-5 years agency experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Skills:
Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere is a MUST
Trade Show/Exhibit experience is a plus
Must know Google Suite + Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,000.00
– $80,000.00 per year
