Account Manager (Creative Agency)

Kada Recruiting is partnering with an award-winning creative agency in Oakland, CA to recruit for a talented Sr. Account Manager for their team.

This agency is taking an innovative approach to break the traditional agency mold to deliver quality work faster while also having fun!The company’s innovative approach to the creative process, involves working with their clients in workshop settings, injecting the principles of improv and humor into their brainstorming sessions to help the clients come up with amazing ideas for their advertising campaigns.

Core responsibilities of this role include management of the following:

·             Establish and maintain client relationships as the day-to-day point of contact

·             Anticipate client needs

·             Understand client business goals and how the agency can support them for current work and potentially new opportunities

·             Drive collaboration with strategic and creative teams to ensure project ideation and workshop development meet client needs

Project

·             Ensure client deliverables are met on time and on budget

·             Provide timely status updates to client and internal teams to keep projects on track

·             Improve processes as needed to ensure efficient workflow

Team

·             Lead and mentor junior account managers

·             Inspire collaboration across internal teams

Budget

·             Develop new client proposals

·             Scoping resource allocations, pricing and SOW creation, obtaining management approvals and presenting and positioning proposals

·             Proactively manage project costs to ensure tracking to approved budgets, anticipating where issues may arise and corrective action required to ensure we deliver to the client on time, and on budget

·             Manage the SOW, making and communicating changes proactively as needed

·             Work with finance to invoice and track fees

As the day-to-day client lead, you’ll be collaborating with creatives, strategists, producers, and just about anybody else to make the clients happy, while producing outstanding creative work. 


Requirements

  • Strong understanding of client/agency/production dynamics
  • Ability to develop and nurture strong client/team relationships
  • Be able to prioritize and problem solve creative solutions to internal agency and external client challenges
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand/marketing/advertising role
  • Bachelor’s degree
