Role SummaryIf you are interest in a hands-on, continuous improvement oriented, fast-paced role in a world class manufacturing environment then our Logistics/Warehouse Process Support Manager role in Columbus is for you.
In this role you will develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, warehouse and material inventories, and production and shipping schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality while managing highly automated, complex processes in a fast paced environment.
This is an opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives, build relationships and influencing skills as well as technical skills.Learn Logistics processes of warehousing, shipping, and production planning, and materials receiving through hands on training.
Promote and encourage safe working practices through training, coaching, and auditing of team members.
Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, warehouse and material inventories, and production and shipping schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality while managing highly automated, complex processes in a fast paced environment.
Lead and coach teams through solving problems and monitoring of key operating processes and equipment utilizing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology.
Identify areas to improve operations in order to achieve or exceed key performance indicators and targets, and execute and participate in initiatives based in lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology in order to sustainably drive improvements.
Serve as a liaison with Corporate Logistics, third party logistics providers (3PLs) and wholesalers as the primary point of contact for the Columbus Brewery.Qualifications
– ExternalBachelor’s degree required, Engineering, Science, Supply chain management or related discipline preferred.High technical aptitude and strong data analysis skills to drive process improvements.
